A handsome antique Edwardian mahogany night stand or bedside cabinet with cupboard dating from circa 1910. In Georgian Revival design it features a pierced gallery and shelf over an open shelf with pierced and shaped sides. It has a single frieze door cupboard with brass pull handle which opens to reveal a removable shelf. The door is beautifully figured and has a central circular inlay of flame figured mahogany and it stands on four elegant tapered square legs. A really good quality piece that would work equally well as a bedside cabinet as it would in a hall as a lamp table or telephone table.
