Classic early 19th.c. North Wales cottage dresser c.1810. Three drawers over a two door cupboard base with a central bank of two dummy drawer fronts and one working drawer. With ebonised diamond escutcheons and inlaid diamond detail to stiles typical of antique furniture made in the Anglesey market town of Talwrn. Well proportioned three shelf rack on shaped 'shoes'. Original brass knobs and original lock to left hand door (the other door and all doors are lockable from the inside with wooden turns). Original floor and backboards troughout. Great condition, good mellow colour, and useful small size. Key supplied.
