Wow what a find! A really amazing art deco lamp featuring a chrome parrot on a marble base. I think its a parrot and have no doubt there is someone out there who can tell me what type of bird this is.

Whatever the species its a rare find.

The chrome is in very good condition. No pitting and only very minimal wear to one or two edges and that is being picky.

IMPORTANT This lamp has the original two core flex with a ceramic two core no earth plug. This will be removed before shipping. This lamp must be rewired to UK specifications before use. It is therefore being sold as a decorative item only not for use. If you do not have an electrician I can arrange for this to be done for you at a cost price of GBP40 to include new bulb holder, 2 metres of 3 core antique flex (that looks like old 2 core), UK plug top and labour.
