Campaign Kneehole Pedestal Desk
Mahogany Campaign kneehole desk with original leather writing surface, circa 1880.
Being “Campaign” the 3/4 gallery top is removable and separates easily for transport, which was useful back in the day!
A full width drawer above 6 drawers to the pedestals. Working locks with a key.
Original flush brass handles and turned feet.
There are some lovely age and use marks to the pedestals and the original leather top.
Measurements:
30 inches or 76 cm surface height
40 inches or 101.5 cm wide
21 3/4 inches or 55.5 cm deep.
23 3/4 inches or 60.5 cm kneehole height
14 1/4 inches or 36.3 cm knee whole width Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
