Buttoned leather gout stool by Holland & Sons gout stool footstool %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Lovely quality 19th century mahogany framed gout stool in buttoned sage green leather and studs to the back, also on its original castors, made by Holland & Sons.
Great decor piece and perfect for putting your feet up and you can adjust the footstool to get it in exactly the right position for you.
I have shown the gout stool semi lifted, so it can go higher, but this gives you an idea size wise. You can also use it as an occasional extra stool seat when it is lowered.
Good solid frame and in good quality mahogany, well cleaned and polished. The buttoned leather looks to have been recovered fairly recently and is in good condition. The colour also works very well contrasting with the mahogany.
Measuring:
As shown part raised:
27 inches or 69 cm high
15 inches or 38 cm wide
20 inches or 51 cm deep
Size when down:
18 1/2 inches or 47 cm high
15 inches x 38 cm wide
20 inches or 51 cm deep
