This is a very pretty and compact adjustable Brass Table Lamp or Desk Lamp, probably suitable for a ladies desk or writing table, although it could be used in many situations, even on a dresssing table.

The lamp features a circular base, with a twisted upright column, terminating in a brass finial, through which is the rod which allows the adjustment of the lampholder by means of a brass wing nut assembly. The pierced brass gallery holds the lampholder and shade.

The glass shade is in frosted glass and is of waisted form, with the frill in rose.

The lamp has been rewired with antique gold coloured twisted, braided silk covered flex, has an inline switch and a new plug. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
