Description:
This is a fine quality vintage English Art Deco bow front wardrobe, constructed with stunning figure walnut, comprising two doors, with an elegant bow front design, circa 1940, in excellent original condition. The Art Deco wardrobe comprises an elegant Art Deco “bow front” design to the two doors, which are decorated with stunning mirror-matched figured walnut timbers, retain the original vertical tapered handles and walnut sides. The right-hand door retains the original working lock (with original working key). The left door retains the original locking latch, which keep the door closed whilst the right-hand door is open. Inside the wardrobe are two hanging rails with an internal storage compartment on the top right-hand side. The Art Deco bow front wardrobe sits on a recessed plinth and the back retains its original backboards. The Art Deco wardrobe can be dismantled into two sections to allow for easy access up a staircase and into the bedroom.
The Art Deco bow front wardrobe would be at home in either a traditional or contemporary setting, and is an extremely practical storage piece. This Art Deco armoire boasts classic Art Deco styling in the overall design of the curved moulded frame, corners, clean lines to the tops, the handles and the plinth.
The Art Deco bow front wardrobe boasts a mellow figured walnut colour. It has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

The Art Deco walnut wardrobe has been cleaned and French polished by hand in our workshop to a professional standard, therefore the polish is of an excellent standard. The Art Deco wardrobe retains its original interior, including hanging rails and internal compartments. The doors retain their original door latches, handles and working lock (with original working key). The Art Deco bow front wardrobe retains its original backboards and it stands on its original recessed plinth. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.

We offer free delivery to mainland England, Wales, and Southern Scotland (anywhere south of Stirling). We do not offer free delivery to locations north of Stirling in Scotland, Northern Ireland, or any British Islands off the mainland for example, the Isle of Man, Isle of White and Channel Islands. Delivery will be made by our specialised antique furniture delivery service, or in some cases we will use a courier service for distant deliveries.
Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks depending on location we aim to deliver the majority of items within 2 weeks. All items are professionally packaged and fully insured in transit therefore, we can assure you, your items will be securely protected in transit and arrive safely with you.
Once you have purchased an item, we will contact you by email and/or telephone and provide you with a provisional delivery date, in order for you to confirm if it is suitable for you.
