A wonderful antique Victorian mahogany bench, made in England and dating from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is of outstanding quality, with beautifully turned bobbin legs and turned bobbin bolsters on the edge of the seat. It is a great size, perfect for use as an entry way bench, at the foot of a bed or even as a dining bench. The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, it is nicely finished front and back, so can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with some minor bumps and marks remaining beneath the polish here and there. This has a great overall patina.
