Antique George III Mahogany Bedside Commode c.1800
A refined Georgian bedside commode dating to around the turn of the 19th century, crafted in mahogany with a gallery top featuring shaped pierced handles, above a double door cupboard and lower converted drawer section.
Compact and classically proportioned with a warm patina and balanced form which would work beautifully as a bedside cabinet, lamp table or hall table with useful storage.
Presented in very good antique condition with some attractive aged surface wear. The swan-neck handle is a later replacement. Structurally solid, clean and ready to place in the home.
