This is an antique carved spoon back settee. An English, walnut and Chenille upholstered showpiece sofa, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840.

Striking walnut show frame presents rich caramel hues and fine grain interest
Professionally upholstered to exacting standards with traditional deep button finish
Distinctive spoon back to centre, with broad arms, tucked and rolled around the frame
Upper rail skilfully adorned with a relief carved foliate wreath
Sumptuous champagne coloured chenille upholstery with faux snake skin impression
