A beautiful antique burr walnut writing bureau in the Queen Anne style. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.

This is of excellent quality, with a gorgeous and elegant design. The burr walnut grain patterns are stunning throughout, with a lovely honey colour tone. The top opens out to reveal a nicely fitted out leather top writing surface, with additional small drawer and pigeon holes. The cabriole legs are elegant and slender, yet strong and stable. The knees are accentuated with intricate acanthus leaf carving.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.
