A superb Victorian table cologne flask by the great name of Sampson Morden. The body is long and cylindrical, with hobnail cutting throughout. The silver lid is fully gilded and engraved with acanthus decoration. The the centre the original initials are still present and opening via a hinge and thumb release, the lid has S. Morden, London engraved inside. This would have been a high quality dressing table piece and it's large size is suitable for cologne or toilet water.
