The table is made from solid Goncalo Alves, a dense heavy wood, that also can go by the name of Zebrawood or Tigerwood.
The flap top opens to form an oval in the typical Sutherland table design. It is supported by a frieze above two turned columns beneath terminating in a plinth base which is supported by two cups which cover the brass castors. The flaps are supported by four pull out legs two to each side. Theses have matching legs to the end columns also terminating in brass castors.
The ‘Gillow’ stamp is to be found on the bottom of both column supports to one end.

The top open is 47 ins 119.5 cm x 32.5 ins 82 cm
The height is 29.5 ins 74 cm
