Superb quality late 19th.c. brass inlaid mahogany double bed c.1890. Extensive brass mouldings and inlaid stringing to the headboard, foot and sides. Head and foot both flanked with a fine pair of turned columns with brass fittings and flutes. Brass pineapple finials to the head. Turned feet, also brass mounted and raised on the original castors. To take a five feet wide mattress, internal length 75″.
Note, we also have a pair of single door wardrobes which match this bed.
Dimensions: width 63″, length 84″, height 57″.
