19th Century Leather Top Stool
Really lovely mid 19th century leather top stoop on a mahogany frame.
The original leather has aged beautifully and has a lovely feel to it, cleaned and buffed with a leather cream so it has a mellow glow.
For a small stool, this is certainly useable and comfortable for a dressing table or writing table for example, but also as an extra seat when you need more seating in a living room.
Good solid stool and in good condition.
Measuring:
19 1/4 inches or 49 cm high
15 3/4 inches or 40 cm white
11 1/2 inches or 29 cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
