A hard to find vintage Mascot music box.

This gorgeous vanity is decorated with ornate floral motifs and also a bird looking at her nest which is filled with four eggs.

Complex engravings grace the base and interior case.

The powder box is in excellent condition.

The original unused puff & sifter are present, as is an immaculate black velvet pouch.

All clasps & hinges work perfectly.

The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.

Turn the winder, pull up the stopper and the musical box plays its enchanting tune.

The tune plays very well indeed.

The inner lid is stamped with the Mascot brand crown trademark.

Measures 7.7 cm diameter. Weighs 131.1 grams.

No traces of powder residue.
