1950s floral brooch Original by Robert

This vintage brooch by Original by Robert is a well-made example of mid-century costume jewellery.
Handmade, as was all 'Robert' jewellery, from gold-tone metal, it features detailed leaf and flower designs set with faux turquoise and deep blue glass cabochons.
The piece has a solid, weighty feel and reflects the quality associated with the Original by Robert name. It is clearly signed on the back where there is a strong bar and locking clasp.
Purchased in the USA in 1951 or 1952 by my customer, this is its first time on the market since then.
The individuality and rarity of this piece makes it ideal for collectors of vintage jewellery, or those looking for a bold accessory with character. A good statement piece for a coat, jacket or hat, it’s a practical and attractive item in very good vintage condition.
The price includes FREE UK (Mainland) DELIVERY My shop at 1 Bridge St, Dulverton TA22 9HJ is open
