Hardbacks bound in late 19th century half leather bindings with cloth boards, numerous illustrations to each book that are full page or among text, several titles to each volume, marbled endpapers & page edges.

Each book measures approx 10 x 7 inches

Minor rubbing to leather spines & corners with minor marks to boards, approx 3 full page plates missing & frontis missing to old curiosity shop, occasional plate bound in at the wrong place & not all titles have a plate list, most volumes have some occasional light foxing but heavier to most endpapers & occasional title pages & frontis plate

Overall very good with all boards firmly attached

A well illustrated edition & bound in attractive red leather bindings
