WWII RAF Sector Clock
A rare WW11 RAF operations room sector antique clock with Elliott fusee movement dated 1941. A cast brass bezel to the repainted dial with coloured sectors and 24 hour markers with RAF mark. A single fusee mechanism marked Elliott with serial number and date mark 1941.
The use of Commander AM Dowding's system of flows of report from detection sources such as radar stations were noted by the coloured sectors and passed on to the appropriate departments. A fine piece of history with the 100th anniversary of the RAF.
