An extremely fine Victorian kidney shaped marquetry writing table by Gillows of Lancaster. The desk is Burr Walnut with a tooled leather writing surface, frieze drawer with ormolu mounts and stands on cabriole legs terminating in sabot feet. The legs have ornate cherubic ormolu mounts and the surface of the desk is profusely inlaid.

This is a sumptuous writing desk of outstanding quality and has the Gillows stamp on the frieze drawer. All items are sold with a 14 day money back guarantee.
