Wm IV leather library chair
Wm IV leather library chair
This Wm IV leather library chair was made circa 1830.
Totally re-upholstered by our specialist team of craftspeople. The leather is English Grade 1 hide that we hand dye after upholstering before we apply our many layers of our unique antique finish. Once finished the leather looks as if it has been on the chair all its life.
The hundreds of brass studs are tapped in individually, something that takes skill and tremendous patience.
The Wm IV leather library chair stands on turned mahogany legs with fluting, then ending on castors.
The button leather loose seat again is finished with the same techniques.
Imagine using this desk in a library or office setting, it is bound to attract a lot of envious glances from family and friends.
98cms high 38 1/2ins
76cms deep 30ins
52cms wide across the arms 20 1/2ins
52cms seat height 20 1/2ins
All Measurements are approximate, whilst we take care in measuring there may at times be a very slight difference.
