A fabulous English mid to late 18th century Antique Windsor Armchair from the Thames Valley region.
In truly excellent condition for its age, the Seat is a single piece of shaped Elm Wood, the rest of the Chair is Fruitwood.
The backrest is comb back with a carved centre splat topped off with a nicely shaped top rail.
Standing on lovely big cabriole front legs and splayed rear legs supported by a beautifully shaped
H frame for support.
Therer is an old repair to one of the armrest supports, but this is not uncommon due to its age.
A rare design with its top rail and cabriole legs, this antique is a lovely example of our history.
