Circa 1830, very unusual William IV solid mahogany stool. The rectangular stool has a stuff over seat, a very heavy carved apron with rounded corners and foliate carving. From this apron there are four solid mahogany legs which are swept with a curled toe, with carved leaves on them. Both sides of the stool are made from one solid piece of mahogany. The stool is very unusual in shape and very stylish.
