William IV Mahogany Scroll-Arm Rocking Armchair
This lovely rocking armchair dates from the first half of the nineteenth century. It has a mahogany frame with scroll arms, an upholstered back and a removable upholstered seat. The upholstery is more modern dating from the second half of the twentieth century.
Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing, knocking and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall a little faded. There are some areas of old restoration and repair. There is some slight movement in the joints. There is some discolouration, marking and staining to the upholstery.
