William IV Mahogany Dining Chairs %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A fine set of William IV mahogany balloon back dining chairs. These chairs are made from good quality timber throughout. The one feature that lifts these is the carved tulip masking the joint between the back leg and the top rail, a detail I have not seen before.
The back rail also has the same carved tulip design typical of this period. The legs are turned with multi faceted edges. The seats are drop in and have a very pleasing complimentary yellow diamond pattern material. These are all sound in their joints and have no breaks. Would really compliment any table .
