A superb quality William IV Mahogany and gilt metamorphic card table in the manner of T & G Seddon. The rectangular top with its carved and moulded edge sits above a cross banded frieze. It is raised on a platform base with scrolled feet and brass casters. The table is decorated with gilt carved patterers, bobble turning and carved fans. Upon opening and revolving the table top the legs are drawn under the table so that four people are able to sit comfortably around all sides. The playing surface is lined with green baize.
