Rare early 19th.c. Welsh pine dresser base c.1800. Three plank top over three drawers and an unusual configuration of a central cupboard flanked with open potboard display shelves to each side. Note how the arched apron is repeated in the shape of the door (and door panel) and again on the sides of dresser. Half turned front stiles (with flat rear sides) repeated against the cupboard sides. Panelled backs to the open ends and original shelf boards. Cockbeaded edges to the drawer fronts and apron arches. Turned front feet. Exceptional colour and excellent condition, cleaned and restored in our workshops.
