A walnut cased three -glass wall antique clock. It has a rectangular case, with a removable pediment,reeded front moulding and three bevel edge glass windows to view the pendulum. The polished steel dial has Roman numeral. The 8 day movement has Westminster chimes (Big Ben)that sound the quarters on four chime rods and the hours on four separate rods. This antique clock has a feature to silence the chimes, the strike or both. (Germany, c. 1920)
