Exceptional X-Frame Music Stool - Walnut - c1870
A beautiful music stool presented in superb condition.
Of quality construction this gorgeous height adjustable stool is wonderfully presented and an excellent example.
The rise and fall upholstered seat adjusts with a pleasing action and a light turn to the shaped wooden hand grip.
The X-frame style creates a very attractive piece and the addition of side bars and a hinged seat hiding a storage compartment provides practicality and comfort.
The base is nicely detailed with circular impressions and a floral centre raised carving feature.
The upholstered seat is covered with a quality soft textile and trimmed with an appropriate matching braid.
Overall a beautiful example presented in very good condition.
