This Victorian Games table is impressive both in the detailed work in the cabriole leg pedestal and the inlaid chess board top. Unrestored but pretty tidy, it has clearly had some attention in the past for the odd knock and bump received over the last 130 years or so. It has been in use and having come from a local house where the previous owner was moving to a smaller property this was one of a number of items that could not find a new home. Could be used as an attractive lamp table or occasional table just as much as for playing chess. A very sensible price which is keener than one might expect for a table like this.
