Beautiful - this gorgeous silver powder compact dance purse with a hand carry chain, is marked German Silver and is a top quality piece with beautiful attention to detail and quailty - measuring c. 3.5" inch long x 2.5" inch wide when closed, it is in lovely vintage condition! - C. 1910/1920 the clasps and hinges are in super order, opening to reveal a lovely clean inside, with two coin holders, and in internal opening powder compact with a high polish steel mirror inset, there is also a hinge for holding notes or visiting/business cards. Externally it is engine turned to the top with a plain rear, the top has an oval cartouche which is engraved with the Mongoram HRS - very nice! The chain is c.10" inch long . All in all an exceptional example showing only minor, and expected signs of having been pre-loved with a super gross weight at c. 130g
