This compact is suitable for use with both modern pressed / solid face powder or as a handbag mirror.
A beautiful Stratton 'Slim Convertible' powder compact in excellent condition. The lid is very eye-catching - a mesmerizing gilt diamond cut design. The mirror gives an excellent clear reflection.
The interior compact is stamped 'PAT. 764126'. The waxed paper insert in the powder well is immaculate. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The base is decorated with vertical lines & tiny chevrons. On the left hand side of the base the reflection of my camera can be seen.
This vintage Stratton compact measures 3 1/4" & weighs 97.7 grams.
