Vintage Elm & Birch Country Kitchen Chair
An attractive kitchen chair. We date this chair to the first half of the 20th century.
The chair sits on four turned legs with a H and rear stretcher.
The backrest has a windsor shape and has spindle supports with a decorative elm seat.
The chair has an overall height of 34" (87cm), an overall width of 15.5" (39cm), an overall depth of 19" (49cm), a backrest height of 17.5" (44cm), a seat height of 17.5" (44cm) and a seat depth of 14.5" (37cm).
The chair remains in a very good usable condition with only very minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage. There is some minor wear to the legs and seat area including some minor indentations to the seat.
This remains a very stylish and elegant chair. It is very comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
