This is a wonderful "Golden Lily" Van-Ace Fifth Avenue compact mirror that has not been used. The case is a good quality one & there aren't any traces of powder or signs of use. This unique shape was patented. The embossed lid has beautiful floral embellishments. The lid lifts to reveal a mirror which gives a good reflection. The mirror has quite a few age spots as you will see from photo two this does not prevent a good reflection. The powder well rim is marked
"PAT 143158 MADE IN USA". The inner lid is brushed gold tone & the powder well is pristine.
All clasps & hinges work well. The base is just as beautiful as the lid. It is decorated with ribbed bands & smooth band with embossed fleur de lis - echoing the lily theme.
This attractive compact mirror measures 3 1/2" X 2 1/4".
