This vintage compact is suitable for use as a handbag mirror or for use with modern loose face powder.
A very beautiful vintage filigree powder compact in excellent condition.
This is a compact case of excellent quality that has such a large capacity it could double
as a business card case. The lid is unusual it has a gilt border which surrounds a delightful
engine turned design of tiny diamonds to the lid & the base. In the centre is a filigree
detail with roses & foliage. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror is good and gives
an excellent reflection. The mirror bezel (frame) is very unusual. The original sifter is in place
& it is in good order.
This unusual compact measures 3 1/2"X 3" & weighs 121.7 grams.
