Beautiful - this is a super early example of Stratton powder compacts, a nice Geometrical Art Deco design in chrome with green and cream insets, fully engine turned to the base, it measures c. 1.3/4" inch diameter and is iconic of the Art Deco Period, the interesting powder case internally bears the Stratnoid, Made in England patents and the clasps and hinges are excellent, opening to reveal a nice clear mirror. Stratnoid pre-dates Stratton as the trade name and this is a lovely piece that will make a fabulous addition to any collection.
