Here we have a very stylish Vintage Italian Sterling Silver Photo Frame. The frame holds a 7in x 5in photo and can be used either portrait or landscape. The silver front has a swirled appearance and the varnished wooden back and strut add a real touch of class.

The photo frame was made in Arezzo in Tuscany by the firm Torzini Enzo and dates to around the 1970s / 1980s. Torzini Enzo registered their silver mark in 1971 and ceased trading in the late 1980s.

Condition is very good, with no dings or dents in the silver and just a little scrape in the varnish on one corner of the wood plus the superficial surface wear that you would expect with use and the passage of time. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The frame measures 21cm / 8.3ins by 16cm / 6.3ins and weighs in at 356g / 12.5oz.

The hallmarks on the bottom edge of the fram are necessarily small but can still be read. They show the 925 stamp for Sterling Silver (925/1000 grade purity) and the Italian silver mark of a star, the number 108 and the letters AR, which is the registered mark for Torzini Enzo of Arezzo.
