An elegant small antique late Victorian sutherland table in Mahogany with satinwood banding by the London cabinetmaker Cornelius V Smith. With oblong drop leaves, on slender turned supports with brass and pot casters and chamfered arched feet. Stamped “CVS” underneath. Superb quality, dating from circa 1895.

Cornelius V. Smith was 19th Century London cabinetmaker, who operated at Marshalls yard, Henry St, Hampstead Rd, London.

Condition Report:
Good condition. Solid and sturdy. Marks, scuffs and scratches commensurate with age. Small split to one leaf of table.
