Victorian Wrought Iron Trestles, Dining Table
A wonderful pair of handmade, wrought iron trestles circa 1900 used as a base for a dining table.
The top being made of reclaimed hardwood flooring blocks themselves being estimated at 60-90 years old. None of the wood blocks have been sanded, just cleaned and waxed. This has kept the character of their previous use.......natural wear, stains, scratches and holes are visible to the surface but create a unique table surface. As well the blocks do have very slight differences to their thickness which again adds to the antique tables overall character.
Quite an industrial piece of antique furniture but a true one off piece.
