This exquisite Victorian burr walnut writing desk, also suitable as a library table, is in its original antique condition. The rectangular top features thumbnail moulded edges and retains the original tooled leather writing surface. The frieze houses two smoothly running drawers, crafted with dovetail joints and equipped with turned bun handles. It stands on four reeded tapering legs, each on a platform base with intricately carved ends, all connected by a reeded stretcher. This robust desk boasts a deep colouration and patina, making it an excellent addition to any home or office setting.
