Victorian Walnut Library Bookcase, AMAZING QUALITY, Real Country House Piece.

This is a truly impressive piece of antique furniture, it looks continental to me, maybe french, looks like it was a piece specially ordered as had family initials/crest carved on panels, by the size and quality in a very big house.

The top (which separates from the base for easier transportation) has the original very thick bevelled edge glass, 2 huge doors opening to reveal adjustable shelves. The outside is decorated with Corinthian columns and other architectural styles, to the top centre is a carved family crest.

The base, to the centre are two drawers, big heavy original brass handles, underneath are two doors, with carved plaques, opening to a large shelved cupboard, on each end are a curved door and drawers,

Sizes :- 206 cms wide, 56 cms depth, 253 cms tall.

Strong & solid, has signs of use as you would expect. See pics.
