Victorian Tapestry Carved Walnut Pole / Fire Screen
A lovely tapestry pole screen. We date this screen to the late 19th century.
The screen has a lovely carved tripod base and support. The screen height can be raised or lowered to suit.
The tapestry consists of a floral and foliage design with a glass front. The tapestry sits in a circular carved frame.
The screen is 59" (150cm) high and 19.5" (50cm) wide at the feet.
The tapestry frame is 17.5” (44cm) wide and 21.5" (55cm) high.
This lovely pole screen remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage.
This remains a stylish and elegant pole screen which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
