Victorian Solid Pine Farmhouse Dining Table
This attractive antique pine table dates from c.1860. It has a nice waxed finish. Unusually the table has two drawers beneath the top, one to the side and one to the end. The table has a solid pine planked top with an attractive worn patina and is supported on square tapering legs and a stained base. It would seat 6-8 people.
Condition Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing, knocking and wear to the woodwork, which is heavy in places, as might be expected from an antique country piece, and there is some fading and discolouration. There are some signs of old restoration and repair, and there is some heavy wear around the bottom of the legs. There are some signs of old woodworm damage, primarily to the legs - this is not active, but has been retreated as a precaution.
