Victorian Silver Octagonal Trinket Box
This is an unusual Late Victorian Silver Octagonal Trinket Box with gadrooned edge, dome top and gilt wash interior. The box is lightly engraved with the name Harriet.
Made by Silversmith John Newton Mappin and Hallmarked in the Birmingham Assay Office in 1894.
The trinket box is in excellent condition with no damage (inscribed Harriet)
The box weighs 55g and measures 82mm long x 51mm wide x 22mm high. We offer free insured postage & packing within the U.K.
