Antique Victorian scroll arm satin walnut and mahogany sofa.

Rare and attractive....better than most....lovely light wood colour and tall turned legs.

Includes the scatter cushions.

Very heavy and strong, with no loose joints.

No significant woodworm.

Great proportions and styling, which would look amazing in the right location.

The sofa has recently been reupholstered in a heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light cream/oatmeal colour.

210cmW x 58cmD x 87cmH (43cmH seat when sat on).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture. Period brass and ceramic castors with some wear (as you would expect). This type of fabric contains the odd slub or fleck of cotton of a different colour picked up in the loom during manufacture. This is normal for all but the most expensive fabrics and not very noticeable except under close examination in bright lighting conditions. There are a few filled/repaired veneer chips on the back rail.

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
