A superb example of Victorian craftsmanship, this stunning Scottish ogee chest is crafted from solid mahogany. In perfect antique condition it retains its original charm and comes complete with a working key. Three elegantly curved ogee hat drawers sit above three graduating flat-fronted drawers, all adorned with striking flame mahogany veneers. The drawers glide smoothly and feature beautifully turned bun handles. Flanking the drawers are intricately carved, turned columns, adding to a noble design craftsmanship to the piece. Offering ample storage, this chest includes a concealed frieze drawer, perfect for safely tucking away valuables.
