Victorian Quality Two-Part Walnut Open Bookcase Late Victorian Quality Two-Part %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Circa 1880. Late Victorian quality two-part walnut open bookcase. Surmounted by a moulded cornice above a simple beaded frieze, the upper section with walnut-fronted adjustable bookshelves flanked by fluted pilasters. The separate deeper base with two frieze drawers with mahogany drawer liners (sign of quality) and cast brass Arts and Crafts handles above with a deeper bookshelf. All supported on an enclosed plinth base.
