Circa 1880, Victorian pine open bookcase. The top has a stylish ogee cornice, above 2 open sections with 4 adjustable shelves on each side held in place by cast brass clips. Beneath the bottom shelf there is an extended section of polished pine with rounded corners and below this there are 2 further solid pine adjustable shelves. The whole bookcase stands on an enclosed plinth. The bookcase is mellow in colour, clean, stylish.
