A very unusual solid oak coffer/blanket box, with lift up lid, panelled sides and 4 wonderful carved front panels. We believe that this coffer has been made up from much older pieces than Victorian, as upon lifting the slightly raised lid the inside reveals carved and inlaid pieces of wood across the back and on the underside of the lid. A very useful piece of antique furniture ideal for storage of a wide range of items.
