Late 19th Century , nice mellow walnut reading table by John Carter.Lovely colour , fully complete and working adjustment mechanisms, height, tilt and book rests, loads of adjustments, all on a shaped base with bold makers plaque and raised on original castors. Useful table plus stand configuration, ideal for over bed or chair use or simply as a reading or even menu? stand. We have given it a light clean and wax and confirmed its fully operational , otherwise we have left the history of time and usage untouched .
